Chinatown, Little India & Kampong Glam
Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam are three of Singapore’s most iconic cultural enclaves, each offering a vibrant, distinct flavour. Chinatown dazzles with pastel-shophouses, temples and old-school street markets. Little India bursts with colour, spices, and the sights and sounds of Indian life. Kampong Glam blends Malay-Arab history, majestic mosques, street art-lined lanes, and cafes, making all three must-visit spots for a true multicultural taste of Singapore.
Dolphin Encounter (Dolphin Island, Resorts World Sentosa)
The natural seawater facility at the Blue Lagoon makes this the best chance for offering visitors a chance to meet and interact with dolphins and sea lions in a shallow-water environment. The Dolphin Encounter lets people stand on a submerged platform while trained dolphins swim up for handshakes, gentle touches or guided interactions, no swimming skills needed, making it accessible even for non-swimmers. The experience includes boat transport, beach access, facilities like showers/lockers, and typically a buffet lunch and beach lounge, making it a full-day outing.
Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay is a futuristic nature park that blends lush greenery with innovative design. Famous for its towering Supertrees, climate-controlled Flower Dome, and misty Cloud Forest, it offers a refreshing escape in the heart of the city. The gardens showcase rare plants from around the world, creating a perfect mix of education, relaxation, and visual delight.
Marina Bay Sands & SkyPark Experience
Marina Bay Sands is an iconic landmark known for luxury, entertainment, and breathtaking views. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for 4 Nights 5 Days Singapore Tour Package with Dolphin Encounter
1. What is included in the 4 Nights / 5 Days Singapore tour package with Dolphin Encounter?
The package includes accommodation, airport/hotel transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary, and the Dolphin Encounter experience. Some packages may also include meals (e.g., breakfast); check with the agent before booking.
2. What does the “Dolphin Encounter” involve?
The encounter is offered by Singapore Oceanarium (on Sentosa / Resorts World Sentosa), formerly known as S.E.A. Aquarium. Options range from a dry “Dolphin Exploration” (interaction from shore, no swimming) to water-based experiences like “Dolphin Immersion” or “Dolphin Connection,” depending on package or add-on.
3. Are there age or health restrictions for Dolphin Encounter?
Yes, for water-based dolphin programmes (immersion or snorkelling), there is typically a minimum age (4 years) and a minimum height requirement (e.g., 110 cm). Children between 4–12 years must be accompanied in the water by an adult (above 21). For shore-based “dry” encounters, non-swimmers are usually welcome.
4. Do I need to pre-book the Dolphin Encounter?
Yes. Since this involves a specialised activity and limited slots, it’s advisable to pre-book when you confirm the tour. The Oceanarium lists scheduled time slots. Some enhanced “Insider / Guided” experiences offer priority access or special perks (e.g., behind-the-scenes, guided tours).
5. What else should I carry or keep in mind for Singapore travel?
Singapore’s weather is tropical: carry a hat or umbrella, sunscreen, and wear light, breathable clothes. For outdoor activities and busy sightseeing days (like island trips, aquatic parks), carry water, a towel, and swimwear if required. For water-based dolphin encounters, wetsuits may be provided; check your package details.
6. Is the package suitable for families with children or seniors?
Yes, the “dry” dolphin encounter (shore-based) is suitable even for children under, and non-swimmers. However, water-based dolphin activities may have age/height restrictions, and children must be supervised by adults.
7. What kind of sightseeing and attractions can I expect besides the dolphin encounter?
Standard 4N/5D packages often include visits to the city (city tours), island resort zones (e.g., on Sentosa Island), iconic landmarks, and other attractions depending on the itinerary. You may also get flexibility; some packages are customizable, allowing optional add-ons like water parks, wildlife parks, or other leisure activities.
